The Mozart Effect is the belief that if a child listens to Mozart over an extended period of time, they will become smarter. After all, if Mozart was a genius, maybe some of his music will boost a person’s IQ. But is this phenomenon true, or simply a hoax for parents to buy more CDs for their toddlers?
